Nessa & Michael - Maternity
As an expecting mama, I have come to have a new and profound respect and love for mamas , especially new moms. I want to use this space to highlight the beauty of the form and frame of every mother and to celebrate the power that she has. Also, to say how beautiful the glow of Nessa is!
When Nessa reached out to me in the summer of 2019 to shoot her maternity, I was beyond excited to document her in this beautiful stage in mom/womanhood. Nessa expressed that she wanted to focus on the beauty of her evolving body. So, we created an intimate and soft atmosphere to take these specific photos.
Shot in a tight corner of the baby’s nursery, I was able to get some solitude-like photos of just mama and baby belly in some natural window light. And then to add to these raw and real moments her husband, Michael and their pups joined in, creating such fun and intimate memories.
