Alleyways & Thrift-shops
Larissa and Blake are musicians, they’ve got some young kiddos at home and yet they find time to make music together. Larissa also takes photographs and I don’t remember what Blake does besides music, but I met Larissa at a yoga studio and realized she and Noah (my husband) went to the same high school and were in some classes together! So we obviously connected instantly. In December of 2019, I had travelled to Missouri to shoot a wedding and I had to meet up with Larissa and Blake to take their photos. It was a brutal cold wintery midwest winter day, I was 10 weeks pregnant and a little sicky but these two bought me hot chocolate at the tiniest brand new coffee shop in town, then we went over to our ol’ stomping grounds (Historic C-Street) and I shot them in the alleyways before we made our way into the raddest thrift-shop on the street.
